Our sessions start with a fair bit of nattering! That's because we are always a social group.

We then warm up a bit with a gentle stretch, and then some 'Rounds' (simple ditties to get the voices working). Then we move onto the songs...

Learning a song is about patience! Especially when it's in four parts for harmonies. The trick is to learn each part individually as you'd imagine, then bring them together introducing parts at a time. But by slowing each part right down to begin with, and explaining the depth of meaning of the song so you understand the intonation and interpretation, you can then join the parts, speed up, and gain confidence to achieve the final result.
